Types of Lessons and Fees

*First Consultation and Lesson are FREE

*Instrument Requirement--The first and most important requirement is that students need to have daily access to a full-size acoustic piano, 88-key with weighted touch electric keyboard or 88-key with weighted touch digital piano. All types of pianos need to have at least one sustain/damper pedal (many will have three pedals, and this is the most preferred arrangement).

 

*Students may attend individually for all types and lengths of lessons shown below. With sibling or parent and child lessons--you may opt to divide 60, 75 or 90 minute lessons between two siblings or parent and child for one fee.

 

Payment is by the Lesson—Students attend lessons once per week. Payments may either be made after each lesson, or by the month. Families who pay by the month will receive a notice at the end of the month with the amount due according to the number of lessons attended that month. Payments are due by the 10th of the following month.

•30 minute lesson--$27.50 per lesson--1 student only-available only for ages 4 through kindergarten

•45 minute lesson--$37.50 per lesson--1 student only

•60 minute lesson--$47.50 per lesson--1 student or 2 students divided into two 30 minute lessons

•75 minute lesson--$51.50 per lesson—1 student or 2 students divided into one 30 minute lesson and one 45 minute lesson

•90 minute lesson--$55.00 per lesson—1 student or 2 students divided into two 45 minute lessons

 

*Each family will need to purchase lesson books and supplemental music. Books are available from the Music & Arts Store locally, or online from www.pianoadventures.com, Amazon, Sheet Music Plus and many different music distributors. These are not included in the fees listed above.

 

Annual Activity Fee:

•$50—Due in January-once per year. Families with two students may pay this fee for one student in January, and the second student in February. This fee covers recital venue & refreshment fees, party supplies, materials for lessons and administrative costs for the studio.

 

Competition and Festival Fees:

•These fees vary according to the specific events offered and they are not included in the monthly lesson fees. When event opportunities arise, specific information regarding cost will be given to the parents before registration fees are due.
